A stunning finish from Zach Little saw him reclaim the Hertfordshire Bowl at Moor Park yesterday.
FORMAT: 36-hole strokeplay x 2
The 72-hole event is made up of the King George V Open at Porters Park and the Hertfordshire Stag 24 hours later.
Last year the 18-year-old won all three but things did not go his way on Saturday and Leicestershire’s Richard Wale claimed the King George by a shot from in-form Mark Stockdale (Woburn).
However Little, who heads to the Brabazon Trophy at Sunningdale this week, came roaring back at Moor Park, firing a brilliant 67 in the final round to win both the Stag and the Bowl by seven shots.

He finished birdie, eagle, par, birdie and admitted the disappointment of events at Porters Park gave him plenty of motivation.
“I was livid after the first day,” said the West Herts player, who finished second at the Berkhamsted Trophy earlier this year.
“It was really windy and the greens were rock firm but that suited my game and at Moor Park I felt comfortable out there.
“Although I shot 71 in the morning I played very similar golf compared to later on. I just holed a few more putts in the afternoon. I also holed a couple of 10-foot par putts at the start of the round and that really got things going for me.”
Little parred his opening four holes after lunch, ending the run at the short par fifth where his drive finished 50 yards short and he got up and down for a birdie.
The par five sixth was reduced to a drive and seven iron, his 15-foot eagle putt just shaving the hole. He also took advantage of the short par five ninth, narrowly missing the green in two and his short game took care of the rest.
There was a wobble at 12 and 14, arguably the two toughest holes of the course, but his sensational last four holes started with him chipping in after he missed the green left on 15.

A 50-foot eagle putt followed straight after and then he sunk a 15-footer at the last to ensure he finished seven shots ahead of county team-mate Greg Hurley (The Hertfordshire) in both the Bowl and Stag.
A day earlier at Porters Park, Stockdale had started strongly, bagging five birdies on his way to a 68. However his second-round 71 opened the door and Wale stepped through it, recording a 68 of his own to finish two under overall. Little could only manage a pair of 72s for a tie for sixth but his time would shortly come.
