The cream of European junior talent will once again be on show at this month’s Fairhaven Trophy (April 28-30).
This morning the Lancashire club unveiled the 144-strong field and also confirmed this year’s ballot was the lowest in the illustrious tournament’s history (+1.7).
U-18 players from 11 countries are taking part in the 72-hole stroke play event which, last year, was won by Yorkshire’s Ben Brown. The Romanby player registered an albatross on his way to a five-shot victory.
The Fairhaven Trophy features a boys and a girls event and Ireland’s Katie Poots returns to defend the title she won by two shots from Shrewsbury’s Isla McDonald-O’Brien.
